When I was a kid, we always had dogs and cats which was really cool!! They were part of the family...We had Tinker Bell, Kristy Kringle, Cuddles, Bear, Chinsy, Baby, Fawna, Duggie and Shadow (these were the dogs in our lives not all at once) we also had Morris Kitty Thomas Hitler, Crue, Tippy Spice, and other cats I can't remember.

When Anthony was about 3, I wanted to get a puppy for him so he could have and animal but Hubby always said "No, he is not ready." And we left it at that. After Skyler was 2, I started in on Hubby again about a dog for the boys...Why not his sister has a cat and now we have my birds...Why not let the boys have a puppy??!! Not a huge one mind you but something small...
Maybe the size of our old dog...Cuddles....

I talked to my sitter and told her thta I wanted one of the puppies. I was only half serious at the time. Later that night, I talked with Hubby on the phone while he was still working and I told him the the dog was going to have puppies!!!! I started talking to him and I begged once again...

And do you want to know what he said??
It will shock you....
I about fell over....
His reply was simply this...."Ask her if we could have one!"
I was in shock and Anthony fell off the bed he was sooooo happy. I still need to talk with the sitter to see if we can get one when it's time...I really hope she does because she knows how much the boys love her little dog as it is!!!

ANd don't forget the shots and all the medical $ that its going to cost at the VETS.. I am not trying to discourage you. BUt it takes alot of money to have dogs.. My 2 cost me $30 a month just for their heart worm prevention...ANd Every yr at lesst $140 for shots then the food which is $20/month and thats just for the kibble not including the treats that you got to buy for them.. But in the end its all worth it..

Real nice post, it makes me want a Chihuahua so bad. We don't have a dog right now, and we are so very used to having at least one.
Have a good eve.
