I sit here and remember the dream that I had last night...I was dreaming of being at my grandparents house in Tacoma. I think it was around Easter time because we were playing crotche(Bad speller!!) This was something I remember doing on special occasions at my grandparents house and we had alot of fun too.
I am not quite sure why I was dreaming this but I remember going to my Grandpa Sam and telling him "I love you!" and seeing the look on his face is something that I will never forget!! He would also tell us that he would give us "2 bits" if we would message his feet!! Being a younger kid I thought "WOW, that's alot of money!" Until he handed me a quarter. But thinking back I think I enjoyed just as much as he id!!
Yesterday had 2 meaning for our family -- First off, It was my grandmother's birthday (Granny's Mom) I would have to ask Granny how old because I don't remember what she was born...
She was a beautiful women too!!
I really miss them with all of my heart and I know that it is very hard on Granny too -- Maybe that is why I am thinking about them today!!
The second reason that yesterday has meaning to our family is that it is also the Anniversary of my Dad and Stepmom being married too!! She has been in and out of the hospital alot and this last time she went into a nursing home after the drs. put in a pacemaker hoping that it will help her!!
She is a very beautiful person and cares about so many people that she forgets to think about herself!! She had to stop smoking and that is good because she never really learned how to inhale anyways!! She knows that some of it got down there but not as much as she thinks.
Anyways, the good news is that she came home yesterday and they were able to have quality time with each other on a very special day. Hubby and I are going to take the boys over on Saturday after I get off work and spend time with them for Mother's Day since I have to work on it.
I know she will be happier at home and with her hubby -- Who just loves her to dealt!!
I hope that in Heaven that all of my family is looking down at us and remembering some of the same things as I do when I look at them!!
